About Us

Thistle Meadery was formed from the need for a good Mead and the pure enjoyment of our involvement in the Medieval scene here in Adelaide. However, we felt there was no good-tasting mead to enjoy, and we felt we could correct that. Over the course of the last 12 or so years, we have played with, experimented with and Tested (consumed) many varied meads to arrive at the range of specialised drinks we now have.
